Fremont 2 - Roy 1

Good outing today, Silver Wolves! I thought Brady Craft had a great game with ball possession both on the defensive and offensive ends of the field. Way to go.

We were able to see some good passing, more wins on the 50/50 balls, and excellent defense today and it was beautiful soccer weather.

The Standard Examiner reported it like this: "At Roy West Park on Thursday, the Silver Wolves got scores from Scott Chambers and Tavin Parker to earn the snow-delayed victory.

Brock Charlesworth scored for the Royals."

That's fine, but it leaves out all of the good play of the rest of the team. Who got the ball to Scott Chambers when it was scored? Who put the ball into the keeper's hands that then allowed Tavin to punch it in? Did they mention Luke's work in the goal? This was a team effort and a team win.

Record now is 4-3 going into the second 1/2 of the season.
