Fremont vs. Syracuse ( Standard Examiner)

Here's the SE's take on the game against Syracuse:
"The Silver wolves apparently had a little pent-up frustration.
Just two days after getting shut out for the first time this season, Fremont High bolted out to a 2-0 lead in the opening minutes and cruised to a 5-2 victory over Syracuse at Fremont High School.
"I think we were a little fired up," Fremont senior midfielder Kody Hunter said. "The coaches put a little pressure on us to come out strong. I thought we moved the ball around pretty well."
Hunter scored the opening goal of the game after just 30 seconds, followed by junior forward Corey Craynor's tally in the fourth minute to make it 2-0.
Fremont didn't sustain its opening burst of energy though, with Syracuse coming back to forge a 2-2 tie after scoring in the 10th and 15 minutes. Tyson Pulsipher scored both goals for the Titans. (think FREE KICKS and a luck bounce on the second one!)
"We lost our momentum a little bit there for a minute, but the boys didn't get down or quit; we never did panic," Fremont coach Bryan Gines said. "We settled down a little and started moving the ball around pretty well and that opened things up."
Junior Mason Russell scored the go-ahead goal in the 35th minute to put the Silver Wolves ahead at the break.
Hunter and Craynor each edded second goals in the opening minutes of the second half, both assisted by Derek Lee, to put the game out of reach.
"You've got to give Fremont credit, they came out right from the moment that whistle blew," Syracuse coach Brad Wojciechowski said. "We're still making progress. It's not always as fast as you want it to be , but our program is moving in the right direction."
